Therapy and Parent Consultation for Life’s Most Meaningful Roles and Transitions

My practice focuses on helping adults and parents navigate the complex intersections of identity, family, culture, caregiving, and personal growth.

Together, we create space to slow down, reflect, and move forward with greater clarity, confidence, and intention.

Who I Can Help

My work is grounded in the belief that people cannot be understood apart from the contexts in which they live.

Mental health is shaped by relationships, family systems, culture, identity, community, opportunity, and the larger structures that influence our daily lives. Effective therapy requires attention to both the individual and the environment in which they are trying to thrive.

I strive to provide care that is thoughtful, collaborative, culturally responsive, and practical. Therapy should be a place where you feel understood, challenged, supported, and empowered to create meaningful change.

Above all, I believe people grow when they are given the opportunity to tell their stories, understand themselves more deeply, and move toward lives that feel more aligned with their values and goals.

  • Motherhood can be one of life's most meaningful experiences, and one of its most disorienting.

Many women are surprised by how profoundly motherhood changes their relationships, priorities, careers, bodies, identities, and sense of self. Even when children are older and families become more independent, many women find themselves entering a new season of reflection and asking what they want the next chapter of life to look like.

    I work with women navigating:

    • Identity shifts related to motherhood

    • Balancing career, caregiving, and personal fulfillment

    • Burnout and emotional exhaustion

    • Parenting stress

    • Empty nest and launching children into adulthood

    • Midlife transitions

    • Caregiving for both children and aging parents

    • Questions of meaning, purpose, and self-discovery

My goal is to help you reconnect with who you already are and determine how you want to live moving forward.

  • Parenting is one of the most important and challenging jobs most of us will ever have. Yet few of us receive formal training for it.

I provide parent consultation and coaching focused on helping caregivers better understand their children's development, strengthen parent-child relationships, and address behavioral and emotional challenges with confidence.

    Common topics include:

    • Challenging behaviors

    • Emotional regulation

    • Anxiety and worry

    • School concerns

    • Building routines and structure

    • Positive discipline strategies

    • Strengthening parent-child relationships

    • Supporting children through transitions

My approach combines evidence-based parenting strategies with an understanding that every child, family, and cultural context is unique.

  • Families often bring together different cultural traditions, values, communication styles, family expectations, and parenting philosophies.

These differences can be a tremendous source of strength and richness. They can also create confusion, conflict, or uncertainty when parents are trying to decide how they want to raise their children.

I have a particular interest in supporting interracial, intercultural, and multicultural families as they navigate questions such as:

    • How do we handle different parenting styles?

    • How do we talk about race, culture, identity, and belonging?

    • Which traditions do we carry forward?

    • How do we navigate differing expectations from extended family members?

    • How do we help our children develop a strong and positive sense of identity?

This work is not couples therapy. Rather, it focuses on helping parents develop a shared and intentional approach to raising children while honoring the unique experiences and perspectives each parent brings to the family.
