I am a licensed clinical psychologist, speaker, educator, and healthcare leader based in Washington, DC.

For the past decade, my career has focused on helping people thrive within the contexts that shape their lives: families, healthcare systems, communities, cultures, and institutions. I currently serve as a psychologist and leader within the Integrated Behavioral Health program and Psychology Division at Children's National Hospital and as an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics and Psychiatry & Behavioral Sciences at George Washington University School of Medicine, where I provide clinical care, train future healthcare professionals, and help develop innovative approaches to improving access to mental health services.

At the heart of my work is a simple belief: mental health does not exist in isolation. Our well-being is shaped not only by our individual experiences, but also by our relationships, identities, responsibilities, opportunities, and the systems around us. Whether I am working with an individual client, speaking to a room of healthcare providers, consulting with organizations, or training future psychologists, I strive to help people understand both themselves and the larger contexts in which they live.

My professional interests include integrated behavioral health, health equity, parenting and family relationships, provider well-being, leadership development, and creating systems that make mental health care more accessible and effective. Throughout my career, I have presented nationally on topics including behavioral health integration, workforce development, culturally responsive care, supervision, diversity and inclusion, and pediatric mental health.

While my full-time work remains dedicated to serving children and families within a large academic medical center, I maintain a small private practice for a limited number of clients each year. This practice gives me the opportunity to work more deeply in areas of particular passion and interest while continuing my commitment to public-sector mental health care.

Outside of work, I am a wife, mother of two young children, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. My husband and I are raising our family in Northeast Washington, DC, surrounded by a large and deeply connected family and community. Some of my happiest moments are spent gathered around a table sharing a meal, experimenting with new baking recipes in the kitchen, doing crafts with my children, or training for my next fitness challenge.

These parts of my life ground my professional work. They remind me daily that every person is carrying a unique story, that relationships matter, and that meaningful change happens through connection, compassion, and community.

Whether you are seeking therapy, a speaker, consultation, or collaboration, I would be honored to be part of your journey.
